The Sacramento Brie Moves to Babylon

“When you die, you’re gonna regret the things that you don’t do,” Sacramento Brie publisher Huey P. Newsom said on Jan. 20, 2021. “We’re moving to Babylon.”

Some of Newsom’s staff aren’t happy, but others are excited.

“I’m not happy,” said sales executive Sheldon Levene. “I’ve been afraid for four years that Darrell Steinberg’s secret Nazi police would kick down my door, and now Newsom wants me to move to Iraq?”

Reporter Girth McFestus said he’s excited. “I’m done writing in this backwater market, and Babylon has been a one-newspaper town for too long,” he said.

When the move is completed, Newsom says The Babylon Brie will have a contest. The reporter with the most clicks in April 2021 wins a Cadillac Eldorado.

Editor’s Note: All of the Brie’s old articles will remain here, but the domain name will revert back to Visitors to will be redirected to the new site that overlooks the historic Euphrates River.

Huey P. "Navin" Newsom was born a poor black child who reported illegal immigrants to ICE before he wised up and invented the Sanctuary City. Today, Navin is the governor-in-waiting of California. As the leader of the Democratic Socialists for Self Defense, he plans to wall off the city of Oakland to protect undocumented immigrants from Darrell Steinberg's secret Nazi police force.
