“Impeachment today, impeachment tomorrow, impeachment forever!” declared Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi (CCP-CA) from the steps of the Capitol when she received news of President Trump’s acquittal in his second impeachment trial. “Now that impeaching private citizens for their actions while in office is constitutional, I have appointed a bipartisan committee to develop a list of potential Articles of Impeachment from Trump’s time as president. We will get him, it’s just a matter of time.”
The bipartisan committee membership includes all Democrat representatives currently serving in the House and Liz Cheney (GOPe-WY).
Other Democrats weren’t so sanguine about continued impeachment efforts. Another representative spoke on the condition of anonymity.
“It’s time we put the impeachment behind us and get down to the serious business of looting the nation before we lose the House in 2022.”
