Sacramento Brie investigative journalists have uncovered the reason for the breathtaking pace of executive orders signed by President Biden: an executive order.
On his first day in office, President Biden signed an executive order that required he sign an average of at least two executive orders per day for the duration of his presidency. Thus far, he has signed twenty-five EO’s in just under two weeks.
“It’s a stretch goal, to be sure,” remarked a White House official who spoke on the condition of anonymity. “It’s proof positive that the president is willing to go the extra mile to relieve the suffering of the American people. He’s gone so far as to sign a stack of blank EO forms for his cabinet to fill out as needed. Truly remarkable.”
When asked about the impact of so many EO’s on Biden’s legislative agenda, she ducked the question. “I’m going to circle back to that question at a later date, but right now I’m unaware of any legislative agenda held by this administration.”
