The son of perdition known as Wormwood penned an open letter to his family on Tuesday, sincerely asking if “burning our family to the ground” was worth their “blind loyalty to President Donald Trump.”
Published by CNN, the choice of accusers the world over, the letter thoughtfully touched on every evil misdeed by the President and his wife, laying them at the feet of Wormwood’s family.
Gently acknowledging that his family is “too human” to understand how his love led him to communicate to them via Cable News Network, Wormwood dutifully catapulted his affections over their defenses, hoping to blast loose an apology.
“Our family has been splintered,” Wormwood wrote, unselfishly wondering how anyone who loved him could allow the Secret Service to protect Melania Trump in New York while her husband was in Washington DC.
“You’re a hypocrite,” he wrote in reply to an “incendiary” family Facebook argument.
“As I hit reply on my response,” he wrote, “I received a message from Facebook informing me my comment wouldn’t load. That’s when I realized you had ‘unfriended’ me.”
“How did we get here?” he asked introspectively. “That’s not who you are. That’s not who you have ever been.”
“How could you vote for a hate-filled New York millionaire racist misogynist bigot whose administration attacks the rights of the LGBTQ community, mocks the disabled, basks in the adoration of a crowd chanting his name as he engages in cruelty, and has never spent a moment with you?” the heartbroken Wormwood asked, simultaneously reminding millions of worldwide CNN readers that he “cried with one of you when your dad died, hugged another of you at your mom’s funeral.”
“I love you … that’s forever,” Wormwood wrote. “But a resolution and reconciliation can’t begin until you can say the words, ‘I hear you and I’m sorry’ and most importantly, ‘that’s not who I am.'”
“You were the person who closed the door on our relationship — and you hold the key to reopening it,” wrote Wormwood, knowing his heart was in the right place.
“After everything else he’s taken from us, he doesn’t get to claim my love for you.”
