Trigger Warning: Not Satire. Marxist social justice warriors “laid siege” to the White House for exactly 1 minute, then fled and abandoned their Twitter account when some people did something.
Washington DC — A 50-day siege of the White House, designed to burn the “dregs of society” out of the nation’s capitol, failed on its first day when organizers abandoned the siege and whined about “MANY threats of death and violence from Trump supporters and white nationalists.”
And it started out so well. When the Marxist operatives issued their first tactical briefing, they said, “We will lay siege to the White House. And we will sustain it for exactly fifty days. This is the #WhiteHouseSiege.”
The plan was clear: the revolution, the burning, the looting and pillaging that began in Minneapolis and spread to Portland and other cities would now be aimed at making the President abandon the White House.
The plan lasted until the day of the siege itself. That’s when the mockery began. (Okay, let’s be fair. The mockery had begun well before the event, but now it began in earnest.)
“It is a dark day in the United States,” tweeted @DCAssemble on Sept. 17, before quitting both the siege and Twitter. “Between the threat of violence from White Nationalists and Trump supporters, protesters have to face the threat of violence from police as well. This is NOT a free country. … Good people are harassed and intimidated by thugs who care NOTHING for democracy or truth.”
