President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden taped their first presidential sparring session over the weekend outside the backyard gym of William Morris, the former gangster once known as “Corn Pop.”
Morris said he suggested the arrangement because of his deep respect for Mr. Biden.
“Back in the days when I knew Joe as the bad-ass lifeguard, I ran a bunch of bad boys,” Morris said. “It’s true we were enemies, but we became friends the day he called me Esther. So when I heard Joe challenge The Donald to a fistfight behind the gym, I thought, what better place than Corn Pop’s Back Yard Sculpt House?”
At age 76, Morris is younger than the 78-year-old Biden, and older than Trump, who checks in at 74. Regardless of their tough-guy talk, Morris said “they’re both pussies.”
“Trump threatened to shoot Joe in the middle of the street, and Joe said he’d cut Donald into a hundred pieces,” Morris said. “But that lasted about thirty seconds. The actual debate went fine. I think it’s airing this weekend on Fox News.”
