Los Angeles (AP) — Former presidential candidate Marianne Williamson purchased several works of art by former Hollywood actor Jim Carrey thinking they were produced by former mass murderer Charles Manson.
“Jim Carrey is an astonishingly bad painter and sculptor,” said British art critic Jonathan Jones. “It’s genuinely scary to look at what stars are doing now in the name of ‘art.’ Is a work of art a window on the soul? Let’s hope not, for Jim Carrey’s sake.”
It’s unknown if purchasers of Carrey’s artwork can obtain refunds.
Jonathan Jones is an astonishingly bad art critic, though.
