States across the country have decided that #TimesUp for serial sexual harasser Martin Luther King Jr., and are renaming every MLK building and street in honor of Barack Obama.
According to an analysis by the Washington Post, the changes will cause more than 700 intersections to become “Barack Obama and Barack Obama” and many school districts will have up to twelve schools named for the second black president.
Four principals of different newly-renamed Barack Obama Middle Schools in Omaha, Nebraska, agreed the changes will cause some initial confusion, but all said it’s a step in right direction.
“We think up to 28% of students could end up at the wrong school on any given day, but what difference would it make?” said Principal Peter Lambert of Barack Obama Middle School.
Principal Patrick Kennedy of Barack Obama Middle School agreed. “We all have the same curriculum, the same class schedule, the same lunch time,” Kennedy said. “The only students who won’t be confused are the ones who go to Barack Obama Middle School at the intersection of Barack Obama Highway and Barack Obama Boulevard.”
“It’s like cowbell. You can never have too much Barack Obama,” said Principal Carol Lewis of Barack Obama Middle School.
