Noah Phillips, the Democrat candidate for Sacramento District Attorney, has changed his campaign slogan from “Equal justice regardless of gender, race, or income” to “How many dates would it take for you to get drunk and vote for me?”
The move comes after Phillips admitted that “crude and callous law enforcement culture” caused him to laugh out loud at a blatantly racist email in 2016 and then sell his soul to George Soros when no one noticed.
According to the Sacramento Bee, the Hungarian-born Soros has given “about $400,000” to Phillips through his “California Justice & Public Safety PAC” and is trying to “flip district attorney races for progressive candidates all over California and in several other states.”
Phillips expressed remorse to his supporters on Twitter.
“Over two years ago, my crazy 70-year-old uncle sent me a racist, sexist, email about drunk women after I gave him my work address,” Phillips tweeted. “Yes, I thought it was hilarious, but my platform centers on social justice in law enforcement, and if you vote for me I can still institute the anti-fascist principles that Sacramento desperately needs. Just tell my campaign office how many drinks you need.”
