“The proportion of crummy comments is higher here than in any other state,” reports Wired.
“Here” is Vermont, where Internet commenters make it “the nastiest state in the union.”
But according to a follow-up investigation by the Sac Brie, “here” is also the basements of the three homes owned by U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders.
Out of 92 million comments written by almost 2 million authors on more than 7,000 forums that use the Disqus commenting software, 97 percent of all toxic troll traffic in Vermont can be traced to IP addresses owned by Our Revolution.
Which makes sense, because Our Revolution is building up “the next generation of progressive leaders, empowering millions to fight for progressive change, and elevating the nation’s overall political consciousness.”
