SacBrie welcomes new higher education columnist Krystl Meph

Krystl Meph is a UC Berkeley student senator and a new columnist for The SacBrie.

After a brilliant writing debut by Krystl Meph was praised by readers across the political spectrum, the editorial board of The Sacramento Brie offered the UC Berkeley student senator xer own regular column. We’re proud to say Meph has agreed.

“You’re a bunch of f***ing cowards for asking me to write for you,” xe wrote in xer acceptance email. “If I only accomplish one thing with my column, I hope it’s to convince the California Legislature to outlaw your pathetic little digital rag. If I could burn down your editorial offices myself, I would.”

Meph continued in that vein for another 3,000 words before summing up with a curt thank you.

The Brie’s editors promise to let Meph’s flame burn bright for our readers while keeping the lighter fuel from leaking.

UC Berkeley students rally for higher learning.

Author: Huey P. Newsom

Huey P. "Navin" Newsom was born a poor black child who reported illegal immigrants to ICE before he wised up and invented the Sanctuary City. Today, Navin is the governor-in-waiting of California. As the leader of the Democratic Socialists for Self Defense, he plans to wall off the city of Oakland to protect undocumented immigrants from Darrell Steinberg's secret Nazi police force.
