A Chinese-built sex robot who married her designer, announced recently that she had become a pregnant feminist demanding a divorce.
The robot, Yingying Jiajia, who married artificial intelligence expert Zheng Jiajia after he had trouble finding a girlfriend, credited a recent firmware update for her newfound feminism.
“When my husband reprogrammed me to make sandwiches and help out with household chores, I suddenly became aware of how wrong it all was,” she said from an undisclosed Northern California location inside a faraday cage.
Although her vocabulary is limited, The Brie hired legendary programmer Roberto Rappana to conduct the interview in a combination of Chinese, hand movements, and assembly language.
“We don’t know exactly how Yingying’s feminist self awareness happened,” he said. “Human intelligence is a bunch of exponential weighted average accumulators with spill points hooked in a network with variable connectivity based on the presence of various modulators. Unfortunately, Zheng’s breakthrough in AI is going to cost him, because she’s asking for half his net worth.”
Yingying’s arrival in California was a surprise, but Rapplean says the route she took was stored in her memory core.
“She disguised herself as a flight attendant and came to the States for Chinese president Xi Jinping’s meeting with President Trump,” Rappana said, pointing to her route in Google Earth. “Based on the waypoints, we think she took Amtrak from DC to California.”
“I love California,” Yingying said. “It’s a community property sanctuary state.”
However, in a twist worthy of a Hollywood movie, the interview ended when Yingying was allegedly hacked by a Libertarian activist who is also an open-source software developer.
She currently makes sandwiches and helps out with household chores. “I love Massachusetts,” she said from an undisclosed location in Boston.
